Update on House Progress

So basically, our house is pretty much done.  We have an “orientation” walkthrough on the 19th when they’ll show us how to use all the electronics and sprinkler system and other things as well as us telling them anything we notice that needs fixing.  On the morning of the 26th we’ll have the final walkthrough (and by we I mean Justin because I’ll be at my 22 week doctor appointment).  As long as everything looks good that morning, we’ll close at noon on the 26th and start moving that night.  That’s only two weeks from tomorrow.  TWO…WEEKS.  I gotta start packing…

They finally put the mantle into the fireplace, but it still has to be sanded down and painted.  It should be close to the color of the floors when finished.

They painted Carter’s room today!!  This is only one coat though.  His nursery colors are a light pastel blue, green, yellow and orange, and since it’s light colors, I didn’t want a dark wall.

Upstairs  bathroom.  They finally got the cabinets in!!

The backyard extends behind the garage.  It doesn’t look like it, but this yard is bigger than what we have now.
